This January 2025 starting on the 6th,Early Childhood Care Education with a Christian twist started off with 40 plus teachers in attendance from different parts of Papua New Guinea. The theme was Transformation derived from 2 Timothy 2:15, focusing on “Study to shew thyself approved unto God”.
To transform ones life spiritually, we must rightly divide the word of God, through much study and rightly apply. Likewise any transformation or change in any area of our lives let along teaching needs alot of study and proper understanding of the content matter which directs right application which helps us to transform and progress.
This training incorporates insertion of the PNG curriculum in to the CLE to comply with PNG Education requirements. It also encompasses the insertion of CLE Early Childhood curriculum into the ECCE Program emphasised by the National Education Board.
Besides the 4 subjects of CLE Basic Teachers Program which are Philosophy in Christian Education, Learning To Read, Interrelationships, Learn To Teach are all taught to introduce that to new teachers and new schools.
The CLE team led by Jason Kauffman and Elmer Glick together with a team of 3 others graced the training with their arrival and spoke to the trainees,
